Nuyorican Poets Café 30 Anniversary
On November 8, 2003, the Nuyorican Poets Café celebrated its 30th anniversary season at the world-famous Town Hall in New York’s Theatre District. The once-in-a-lifetime live concert performance featured an all-star celebrity line-up from the stage, screen and music industry, and benefited the Café’s renovation and expansion project. The project helped the Café, a tax-exempt not-for-profit organization, to continue to provide a stage and a creative outlet for artists. Nuyorican Rule was proud to take part in this celebration, and we will continue the honor of doing our thing the first Wednesday of every month at the Nuyorican Poets Café.
