Mark Viera is a Bronx native who like so many other kids of working parents grew up in front of the television. While his mom worked as social worker helping other families, he and his older brother spent there after school hours in front of the TV watching the shows of the 70s and 80s. After countless hours of watching shows like Carol Burnett, Sanford and Son and Threes Company, Mark would become the characters on these shows and entertain his family.
Today, Marks stage performances reflect his lighthearted, fun-loving approach to comedy and his ability to see humor in even the most ordinary situations. Whether riding on the train, playing on the playground or getting directions from his cars computerized mapping system, Mark sees the absurdity of life and is able to help his audiences see it too.
Catch Mark at Stand-Up NY, Carolines, The Comic Strip, Nuyorican's Poets Café, CAMARADAS el barrio or a comedy club or college near you. |
